All contact with staff and crew installing our new furnace was professional, courteous and informative. Can't say enough about the crew regarding installation. They leave to get a 0.69 part in the evening to finish the job. It's rare to find that attention to detail these days. Friends we found that used Pickerington all had the same positive experience. We can only reinforce the same opinion. I'll be calling Pickerington in the Spring to update our AC unit.
I performed a diagnostic service call on an air conditioner. Upon arrival I discovered cap blown. Replaced capacitor. Found system ran without issue and amp draws within paces. Found system low on refrigerant, customer stated he added refrigerant 6years ago. Added 2lbs of refrigerant. Delta t is now17 degrees. Suction pressure is 75 liquid is 171. Superheat is 15. Filter is clean. Airflow is proper. System operational on departure.
I performed a diagnostic service call on an air conditioner. Upon arrival customer stated that the system was blowing warm air, called for cooling at thermostat and found the condenser fan motor is turning on but the compressor is not. Added a super boost to circuit, compressor now turns on with hard start installed, Checked pressures, explained to customer that pressures are within range and system is just cooling as best as It can at this time and will struggle to cool during the warmer days, explained all repair versus replace options with customer, customer would like to wait on any further repairs at this time and look into replacement options once system completely fails. At this time system is cooling as best as It can and is cooling upon departure.
I completed a cooling tune up on a Carrier air conditioner. I visually inspected the unit. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored system. All operating normally at this time.
I arrived on site to perform a tune up on the customers Bryant air conditioning unit. During the tune up I found that the unit was running low on R-22 Refrigerant. I filled the unit with R-22 and the unit was cooling at full functionality at the time of departure.
