Cory is THE BEST!!
Marti - Lancaster, OH
After experiencing the aftermath of a water leak, floors ripped out, boxes piled everywhere, deafening fans and dehumidifiers running, Cory was the only technician that bothered to put on booties before walking into our house. Cory was knowledgeable and informative. All of our concerns about possible water damage to the furnace were addressed. Any questions were answered. I was impressed with my overall interaction with Canal Winchester Heating and Cooling. They answered the phone when I called, many did not, or did not return my call when I left a message. They were accommodating, came on a Saturday, called to advise they were on the way. 5 Stars I highly recommend!

I completed the scheduled maintenance agreement cooling tune up on a Carrier air conditioner. I visually inspected the unit. Checked voltages, amps and pressures. I inspected the evaporator coil. I checked the temperature difference across the coil. Inspected heat pump. Checked refrigerant charge, voltages and amps. I rinsed the condenser coils with water. Cycled and monitored system. All operating normally at this time.
I completed diagnostic on American Standard Air Conditioner. I determined that Condenser fan motor was not spinning, bearings completely seized up. Customer also believes there may be a leak in the system. I am sending quotes for repair and replacement to customer to consider.

I found that the Carrier "Infinity Series" air conditioning system is overheating due to being oversized for the house. I inspected the evaporator coil and the blower. High temp limit is good at this time. We will be back to install a coil adapter to fix the overheating issue.
