DISCOVERING BALTIMORE, OHIO
The Village of Baltimore, Ohio, dates back to the 1800s when multiple farm families began immigrating from Switzerland and settling on the village’s west side naming it “Basil.” However, a day prior, Virginians found land on the east side of the town and named their village “New Market.” This division of land resulted in a 125-year dispute known as the “Twin City Feud.” Despite this feud, the growth and development of the village continued, and through the rivalry, it incorporated its railroad and post office.
In order to improve transportation while simultaneously saving Ohio farmers as well as growing the population in the town, the national government broke ground for the Ohio & Erie Canal on July 4, 1825. The canal is located on the Licking Summit, just a few miles south of Newark, Ohio. Soon after, in 1833, the City of Baltimore was founded. To this day, it is unknown why the city is called Baltimore; nevertheless, the name was established when the city’s founder rode into town on a bicycle.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city is home to almost 3,000 residents and has a total area of just over 2 miles, all of which is land. And in 2011, Baltimore officially became qualified as “Tree City USA,” which is acknowledged by the National Arbor Foundation.

Our experience began with Isaiah Chattos. He was our diagnostic tech. He found the problem and was excellent at explaining everything in great detail. He set up our appt to get our heat pump and furnace installed. The installation team showed up on time. Shane and Brian were the installers and were very courteous and efficient. Jeff came later to help with installation and installed our thermostat. He was extremely helpful with all the instructions on the complete install. Everything went as smoothly as can be expected. We will definitely use them again and recommend them to family and friends

Performed a diagnostic service call for a 2019 AC unit. Found unit with only 115 volts to the disconnect. Inspected the breakers and found that the breaker for heat pump was tripped. Client stated that the power shut down a month ago . And its been down since. After cycling the breaker unit started up and is now working properly.

Performed a sma tune-up and safety check-u for a 2012 gas furnace. We found rust around orifices of the burners. We also found a small nick in the flame sensor. Doesn’t seem to be an issue at the moment. House was converted to natural gas. So flame sensor should be good going forward. We still brought issue up to customer. Furnace met all other specifications. Tech found out that we were supposed to be doing an a/c tuneup. So we did both.

Performed a diagnostic service call for a 2020 AC unit. Not turning on at all. System has not worked since the install. Upon arrival, I found that a/c was not cooling r/s were both 69. I went to unit and got noticed that fan was running. I did amp draw on compressor. 6.8. I checked capacitor. 69/70 on herm side. I checked charge and found that unit was almost empty. I verified with supervisor who had tech reschedule a time to go back out and do a leak search on unit.

I performed a diagnostic on clients air conditioner that was not cooling properly. Replaced suction line service valve and performed pressure test. Pressure test failed, during my leak search I found a leak in the line set above the downstairs living room’s drop ceiling on the suction line. I repaired the leak and pressure tested the system. System tested good, evacuation was done and recharge with 6lbs R410A to a 9 degree sub cool. System is operating properly at this time and was left operable upon my departure.
